Shaping Lives is a Christian ministry dedicated to children at risk in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia, operating under the umbrella of Youth With A Mission International (YWAM)<\/a>We exist to honor God and share His love through the restoration of vulnerable and high-risk children, their families, and future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to our direct work with children at risk, we are called to raise awareness and sensitize pastors, congregations, and society at large, firmly believing that the entire community must understand and practice God's perspective on injustice, mercy, and poverty. As part of this mission, we cooperate with the Viva Network, collaborating with other Christian ministries that serve children in high-risk situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Shaping Lives Corporation is recognized in Colombia as a non-profit social organization by the government agency responsible for child protection, the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF). In the United States, Formando Vidas Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are tax-exempt and authorized to issue official donation receipts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
