Everyone who serves at Shaping Lives does so voluntarily and works from the heart. In the end, God always provides in one way or another. Some are older, and others are very young. Everyone is united by the common cause of helping change the spiritual and social landscape of Bogot\u00e1, Colombia. Some members of our volunteer team even go on to start their own ministries in other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEAMS:<\/strong> We welcome teams or small groups coming for periods ranging from 7 days to 2 weeks. Whether your focus is on children's ministry, construction and maintenance, or a combination of both, we can provide opportunities to serve across different areas of our ministry, as well as with other partner programs working with children at risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We always have work to be done. Please contact us to coordinate the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are thrilled to know that you are interested in volunteering with us. The application process consists of the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.<\/strong> Seek God\u2019s guidance in prayer regarding serving with us. If you feel confident in God\u2019s direction and approval, proceed to the next step. If not, keep praying! \u00a1siga orando!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Fill out the application form and email it to us at formandovidas@aol.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

a. Full Application Form<\/a> (for those planning to serve for more than three months).
b. Short-Term Application Form<\/a> (for those serving 1 to 2 days a week, or for less than three months).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Ask your Pastor and a friend to fill out the corresponding reference forms. If you are currently with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) or have recently served under a YWAM leader, please ask them to fill out the YWAM Leader Reference Form. If you are not in YWAM, please ask your current or former employer to fill out the Employer Reference. 4. You must also submit a background check (pasado judicial) from your country of residence. If you are a Colombian citizen, please include your social security affiliation (afiliaci\u00f3n al seguro social).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
