Santo Domingo Neighborhood, Altos de Cazucá

Located in Altos de Cazucá, in southern Bogotá, the “Amigos" Club brings the Gospel to underprivileged children and teenagers living in one of the city's most vulnerable peripheral areas, which has developed as a result of displacement from internal conflict. High poverty rates, gangs, youth vulnerability, and stigmatization are some of the realities faced by the families living in this sector.

Saturdays here are full of color and creativity; children paint, act, and enjoy a fun Bible Club that combines learning with laughter. Our teenage girls meet to share a time of encouragement and friendship, while women join our sewing class to strengthen their confidence and develop job-ready skills.

Throughout the week, we also provide personalized and small-group educational support to help students stay motivated and succeed at school. And, of course, football never stops: we have two weekly practices, an evening discipleship session, and Saturday matches, where both boys and girls give their all on the field.

Music

We host training workshops in guitar and percussion for young people so they can develop their talents. Once they master the musical foundations, these youth begin to develop other valuable skills, such as teaching and mentoring new students.

Tutoring / Academic Support

We assist children with homework guidance
and learning strategies, with a special focus on those facing academic difficulties
working hand in hand with their mothers.

Arts

There are ninety families actively involved in learning and showcasing various types of art.

Football / Soccer

We have a football club for teenagers where they learn vital life skills through discipline, passion, and recreation. Our players learn about commitment, teamwork, time management, and how to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, these young athletes learn about God's love and how to build a personal relationship with Him.

Every donation helps us maintain our programs and facilities to continue changing lives.
